Sneak Peek into Clue SEO Methodology

Note: Not all steps are listed and not all strategy defined. Certain methodology and steps are proprietary and are not listed. The order of steps listed below may not be the same.

Keywords
Primary Keywords:
Primary Keywords are "Generic words". For instance if we are selling books online then "Book" or "Books" will be our primary keyword; if we have a Real Estate website then "Real Estate" will be our primary keyword. This generic keyword has high competition and takes a long time and enormous effort to get to the top position on search engines. (It may also take 1 yr. or more to achieve a decent position). We keep the primary keyword as a base to begin from for our long-term strategy.

Secondary Keywords:
Secondary Keywords are general keywords. We will take the same example if we sell books online then "cheap books", "discount books", "tax free books" "duty free books", "Harry Potter books" etc. will be our secondary keywords. Likewise if we have a North Carolina based Real Estate website then 'Property NC', Real Estate NC, Raleigh Real Estate, etc would be apt. These secondary keywords have a high probability to achieve a rank than the primary keyword.

Meta Tags
Optimize all the pages for targeted keywords. All pages will have a "Unique"
  • Title
  • Description
  • Keywords
It is advisable to target 2-3 important keywords for the home page, rather than targeting all the keywords one could think of. This would become messy and jeopardize results.

Manual Submissions
Manully submit to various industry related directories (Paid and Unpaid) and Search Engines
Link Building
To achieve a good SEP (Search Engine Position) link building is a vital step.
Our initial target will be to get maximum links from all relevant sites with page rank 2 and above.

Reports
Mini reports:
This report will be generated & forwarded after every 10 days interval.
Monthly Reports:
This report will be generated and forwarded at the end of the month. This will include a brief about all 3 mini plans plus an analysis of work performed & its results.
Feed back from your End:
This will ideally include Recommendations, improvement in communication, any other suggestions in the process or reporting.

Review
After completion of work, we will review the results achieved. Depending on the approach and the situation one option would be to target additional keywords and creating additional informational pages for the particular keywords.
